🐘 Dual Wield Vs Two Handed Elden Ring
The Power Stance is Elden Ring's term for getting access to extra moves when dual-wielding. To achieve this, all you need to do is to equip two weapons of the same type (weapons are already organized by type in your inventory). Your power stance combo moves will now be accessible by using the left shoulder button.
Nagakiba is great for dual wielding in the right hand as its range can roll-catch in PvP; This weapon has a unique thrusting R2 that takes advantage of its range. Causes Blood loss Buildup: (45) Sell Value: 100; Long reach while still having katana attack speed. Being able to use Ashes of War on it makes it very versatile for any boss.
Here’s how to dual-wield in Elden Ring: Start with the first weapon in your right hand (main hand). Next, open the inventory menu and choose the second weapon you wish to hold in your left hand. L1 & R1 for PlayStation controller. Right-click and Left-click for PC. LB & RB for Xbox controller.
Two handed cause I’m slow and can’t dodge so I block instead. bringemichum • 9 min. ago. It depends on weapons. For example curved swords have the best dualwieding movement in ER. But rapier dualwielding movement is trash, better not to use. makamesque • 1 min. ago. always 2h when possible. better poise damage, faster attack speed
Dual wield and power stance have same attack combo. I power stance 2 to have both bleed and frostbite ailments, otherwise I would just dual wield. Power stancing gives an additional combo whereas two-handing let's you guard. Power stance L1 combo is the same as dual wield R1. Both get the one handed combo, power stance by pressing R1 and other
I think jump attacks do more poise damage than r2s , seen somewhere that a jump attack is about double damage. Dual wield jump attacks do much more poise damage than two handed jump attacks. The heavier the weapons the better, greatswords can posture break some enemies in a single hit. Yeah but when dual wielding, does a jumping L1 do more
When wielding a colossal weapon, a charged R2 will knock down most regular enemies while doing heavy damage. Ultimately, either playstyle is viable, though. Up to personal preference. papehtonk. •. Ita better for poise breaks, and generally deals more damage. Example 1hand deals 60 damage, 2 hamd deals 100 damage. 2x 1 hand hita deal 120 damage.
L2 is skill, R1 and R2 are simply right-handed light and strong attacks. Thats what he mentioned above for powerstancing. When powerstancing, L1 is your attack with both weapons button. With a dual wield weapon, two handing it dual wields it and then R1 is dual attack button.
So yeah, RoB in right hand Uchi in left. So, switch to 2-handing your Uchi by holding Y (triangle) and hitting your left bumper (L1). That will make you 2hand your Uchi. Then use Seppuku. Then hold Y (triangle) and hit the right bumper (r1) and that will take out RoB. Bam.
It is not viable in pvp but literally 3 jump l1s with dual flain is enough to stun malenia for special attack. Yeah but the bleed flail is still better imo. Longer range, stagger, better horse combat. It’s literally better in every way in my opinion. But I might just be hot dog water with the daggers.
gunsharp. • 2 yr. ago. Yeah, the damage is roughly 70% better per swing and the attack speed is pretty similar (slightly longer animation). In my play style I don't block though only dodge so dual wielding fits my style. Also jumping L1s into more L1s pretty much kills most normal mobs. I liked my 2H great sword but needed three swings to
dual wield always > 2 handing. this is because the damage added from 2 handing the weapon is negligible, where as the damage added from adding a second weapon is significant. there is NO weapon in the game with high enough scaling to make this not the case. even the brick hammer @ 60-80str dosent have more damage 2 handing than dual wielding
Elden Ring Power Stance Explained. The power stance is also a staple of Souls combat that was introduced in Dark Souls 2.Essentially, it combines the attacks of the right and left hand by binding
Weapon itself doesnt matter. But the type. #1. Archdeacon Monseigneur Mar 27, 2022 @ 3:14am. when you dual wield weapons they have to be the same "type" of weapon, i.e double greatsword or double colossal sword, double dagger etc. you swing both weapons at once using the "block" button. #2.
